and a bit closer, these flower motifs are quite easy once you get the hang of keeping the tension tight -- it took a few tries to get the flowers to look proper considering my tension was way too loose. I had to take it quite slow, and I am not showing the purple flower one I made first, it is pretty bad, so I didn't add the looped chains to wrap it around the rock...
I am still looking for a yellow varigated crochet thread to wrap around a rock -- I am almost obsessed with yellow varigated thread -- the first place I check out in every 2nd hand shop is the craft corner, looking for the elusive yellow varigated thread! Soon, I know I will find it soon.
