The first few days of a new puppy in the house is totally facinating and we of course are still "in love" with her...
I suspect that the two or three night time wake-ups soon will become an irritant, but it does come with being a new puppy owner.
On the third day, it appears that she is paper trained, the corner in the room with layers of newspaper is where she heads several times a day, she had caught onto it by midday yesterday and we have had no 'accidents' since...
We went for our first adventure out onto our neighboorhood street and she was much intimidated by the cars and trucks that went past. She stuck real close to our legs -- sometimes making it difficult to take a step for fear of squishing a puppy. She found a few spots along the way to get a sniff of her surroundings and I am sure signals that told her another dog has been this way.
There is so much to look at, sniff and explore --- but really this is not a doggie blog so I will try to keep Pearls appearences on the blog to a minimum, but GEE. She is just so darn Cute...
